We are in search of a full stack engineer to join the small, talented engineering team at Alta.

• Thrive in ambiguous problems, shaping the frontier of how shoppers interact with AI, and the 0 to 1 journey. You think strategically & solve engineering problems thoroughly.

• Build beautiful, polished, and delightful user interfaces that build trust and showcase the power of our AI technology & shopping recommendation models.
• Scaling Alta’s suite of applications as we grow. Monitoring, debugging, and fixing issues in deployed applications. Improving the speed and quality of our codebase.
• Collaborating across disciplines, including design, engineering and growth.

• 4+ years of Full stack or backend engineering experience, ideally 6+ YOE.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, Python. Have worked with NodeJS and ideally NextJS.

• Experience building in consumer AI, whether in a previous role or on the side (e.g. hackathons)
• Experience in growth engineering.
