BACU exists to transform the relationship we have with food. So that when we sit down in front of a plate we make a conscious choice about what we consume. So that we appreciate the value of knowing where each ingredient comes from, how it is prepared and the experiences behind each recipe. On a BACU plate, every smell, texture and colour takes us to the region where the farmer harvests fresh crops, to the kitchen where the chef explores a new recipe, to dinner at the grandparents' house and to the new combinations that the traveller discovered.
