What you will do 📅
The Chief of Staff will work directly with our CEO to drive strategic initiatives while simultaneously providing critical executive support. You'll be the CEO's right hand, managing both high-level strategic projects and day-to-day operational needs. This dual role requires both exceptional big-picture thinking and meticulous attention to detail.
As Chief of Staff at For Them, you will autonomously manage projects across all verticals of the business while ensuring the CEO can focus on what matters most. No two days will be the same. You'll shift seamlessly between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
Your responsibilities will include:
Strategic Projects: Lead cross-functional initiatives, translate vision into actionable roadmaps, and drive execution across multiple departments
Executive Support: Manage the CEO's inbox, prioritize communications, and ensure timely responses to critical messages
Meeting Management: Prepare for executive meetings, take comprehensive notes, distribute action items, and follow up on deliverables
Operations Leadership: Build systems and processes that scale efficiently as we grow
Data Analysis: Track key metrics, analyze performance data, and generate insights that guide decision-making
Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with absolute discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
Team Coordination: Act as a bridge between the CEO and various teams, ensuring alignment on priorities and objectives
External Relations: Represent the CEO in select meetings and manage relationships with partners and stakeholders

Who are you 🌱
To thrive in this role, you must be both a strategic operator and a trusted executive partner. You are highly organized with exceptional project management skills. You love to turn ideas, visions, and plans into manageable roadmaps—and then execute them flawlessly.
You're a master of inbox management, calendar optimization, and meeting coordination. You anticipate needs before they arise and have an uncanny ability to prioritize competing demands. Context-switching is your superpower.
You understand the importance of absolute discretion and confidentiality. You'll be privy to sensitive information and high-level discussions, and you know how to maintain appropriate boundaries and trust. You're the vault where information is stored securely.
You know what criteria are most important in software selection and you're excited by the latest productivity tools. You are a systems builder who can clearly communicate processes to the wider team. A well-designed, explained, and maintained system is your comfort zone.
You are also a skilled communicator who can distill complex conversations into clear action items and follow-through. You're comfortable taking detailed notes in high-level meetings and transforming them into accountable next steps.
You are good at tracking and analyzing data, suggesting changes in behavior and processes accordingly. You're proactive, resourceful, and thrive in ambiguity—the perfect complement to a visionary founder.

Structure ℹ️
Full-time
Based in NYC (3 days in-office, 2 days working remotely)
Salary: Starting at $75k dependent on experience

Second Stage = 45 min IRL with our CEO
Third Stage = show don't tell → a small offline case-study challenge (it won't take you more than an hour)!
